Measurements for your kilt
To place your order, we will need the following measurements from you:
1. Your waist measurement, taken at your natural waist. This is located just above your navel and goes around through the small of your back. Remember that the kilt sits higher than your jeans or trousers. (Measurement A)
2. Your hip measurement. This is taken at the widest part of your seat, normally near the hipbones. This measurement should be made somewhat loosely, to allow for variations. Take the measurement OVER your trousers, but be sure to remove your wallet or other bulky items in your pockets first. (Measurement B)
3. The length of your kilt. Have someone else make this measurement for you. Kneel on the floor (on both knees), your body erect. Measure from your natural waist (where you made the first measurement) to the floor. You may add or subtract about an inch, if you prefer a longer or shorter kilt, but stay within this range. (Measurement C)
4. Your height and weight. This helps in double-checking your measurements.
5. If you are actively losing or gaining weight, please advise us. We can make your kilt so that it will adjust to meet your needs.
TAKE ALL MEASUREMENTS TWICE. Your kilt will be made to the measurements YOU provide to us. We cannot be responsible if the measurements you give us are not correct.
